I love everything about dressing up. The hair, the makeup, the photo op (LOL). No matter what the occasion is: if I look good, I feel great. Most of the time, I picture looks in my head and then take to the internet to make my vision come to life and this ensemble was no exception. I wanted to look like an Academy Award (the actual golden figure) with a hint of Bishop Magic Don Juan. I envisioned (Raven Baxter style) a one-shoulder gold lamé gown with a split. I looked on the net but wasn't able to find it. I contacted my tailor about getting the gown made, but couldn't find the right fabric. Finally, after one last google search, I found almost exactly what I was looking for...at Macy's...for less than $100!!! Eureka!!!
I attended a soirée in the Oakland Hills and it was a night to remember filled with beautiful people and beautiful spirits ready to ring in the new year, in style.
Oh...BTW...I ended up ordering more than one faux fur jackets that are the same color...I feel a GIVEAWAY coming soon. Stay tuned and Happy 2018!
